Nightmares.
It’s official. This has been a full week of nightmares. Every night.
Last night’s nightmare was probably the result of reading Blindness too much. Anyway, this one guy was the leader of a community of blind people who wanted to destroy the rest of the “seeing” world, which included me. So they set off to the house I was living in to burn it down. I thought it would be easy to avoid them because they couldn’t see me, but they happened to be blessed with super human hearing. Or echo-location. I’m not even sure. But they sensed pretty much any sound or motion. It was ridiculous. I (and one other guy who I don’t recognize) managed to escape from the burning house, but the blind leader knew about it and was determined to track us down.
He was like a mutant. He could run really fast and jump really high. Creepy. Anyway, in the end I had to pretend to be blind too so he wouldn’t kill me. Then, while I tried to distract him, the other seeing guy I was with would try to kill him.
I don’t remember the rest.
There were other nightmares too, but they were less vivid than this one. Oh well :D
