1. Who would you like to see right now?
Right now, I’d really like to see my family. Not just my immediate family, but my extended family. They have a way of making me laugh and smile and just feel good. Hakuna Matata. That’s the vibe when I’m with them. Perfect timing: I’m supposed to see them tonight for Ate Chris’s birthday celebration. We might go salsa dancing afterwards, but I’ll probably just leave that to the adults =))
2. My favorite quote: “Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun set on your anger.” - Ephesians 4:26. I really like the second part, and it’s something I try my best to live by.
4. Top 5 turn ons:
- Good dancers: Not good grinders, but good dancers.
- Cheesy jokes: I’m a sucker for cheesy jokes. Really, anything that can make me laugh. But cheesy jokes are the absolute best :D
- Rolled up sleeves: There’s just something attractive about a guy’s forearms when they’re in rolled up sleeves. Don’t ask. It’s weird =)) But I’m not the only one who finds it attractive :D
- Good hugs: Tight hugs make me feel safe and warm :]
- Passion: Passion for a sport, or academics, or an instrument, or anything. Just passion. It means that person will be driven about something. It shows dedication, which is just plain attractive.
Top 5 turn off’s:
- Incorrect grammar: I’m not talking about the occasional misspelling of a word, or the occasional switch of “your” and “you’re”. But consistently incorrect grammar is just a major turn off. Especially now when pretty much all technology made for writing comes with spell check and autocorrect.
- Flirts: Not just with me, but with everyone. Regardless of how good I might feel when being flirted with, the knowledge that this behavior is replicated with pretty much every girl out there is just unappealing. I prefer sincerity to flirting, but I’ll admit that on occasion, flirting can be fun :D
- Laziness: Everyone can be lazy at times, and that’s totally fine. What’s a turn off is the laziness that means an absolute lack of motivation. Not caring to make any plans, not caring to aim high. Not setting better standards of achievement.
- One word answers: Especially just “lol”. No thanks.
- Close-mindedness: I’m not saying they have to be open to doing drugs or anything like that. I just hate it when guys are unwilling to even consider things that don’t mesh with their “cookie cutter” world. They don’t have to go and convert to another religion. But they shouldn’t just dismiss the unknown as stupid, either.
9. Where would you like to live?
I’d really like to live in Switzerland. Or Australia. Or New York. Just somewhere different. Also preferably a cute small town (although I might actually get tired of that).
10. Story of my last kiss:
I was going to say I don’t remember, but it just now crossed my mind. It was the Tuesday when we got out for Thanksgiving break, and my bestfriend and I were on the way to another friend’s house. We stopped at a park on the way and just hung out at the playground for awhile. He taught me how to play this game that apparently everyone should’ve known how to play since elementary school =)) It involved running and swinging over bars. I lost. But it was fun :] It was cold and we went back to the car. A song came on the radio. My favorite song at the time. And then we kissed. I wasn’t aware that would be the last, but things change. Not necessarily for the worse though. We’re still good friends :] I think I like it better this way.
14. Biggest regret: Not changing when I should have. And then purposely debasing myself when I shouldn’t have.
16. A wish: I wish that someday I’ll come to a definitive decision. I wish that either I’ll get better, or that I’ll have the means by which to do what I’ve been wanting to for awhile.
19. If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be:
If I could change one thing in my life, it would be that daddy would still be around. It doesn’t even matter if that means that I wouldn’t have moved to Texas. Sure, I’ll miss out on meeting some of the most amazing people. But if it means having my dad around, if it means not becoming as fucked up as I have, if it means still being his princess, then that’s okay with me. I realize that it’s all in God’s plan, but if I could change it, I really would. My dad was the most generous, kind-hearted person. Why wouldn’t I have that back if I could.
20. Your best kiss:
Honestly? There’re probably a lot, all with the same person. But I’m not sure I can go down that road without opening up a world of hurt, so if it’s okay with you, I’d really rather not go down memory lane just yet.
